Frank Ferrara, DMD Pediatric Dentistry

Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist
NJ Specialty Permit #6143 Pediatric Dentistry

I feel so lucky to be able to do what I love each day. I take pride in providing conservative dental care with a preventive focus, and enjoy learning about each child who becomes part of our family of patients. Care for each child is determined on an individual basis, taking into account the specific child’s risk for dental disease, oral hygiene habits, and past history of cavities.

Dental treatment is not “one size fits all,” and your child deserves someone who is willing to cater to his or her unique needs. My team and I also work hard to incorporate new technologies that improve the comfort and safety of the dental care we provide.

A Little More about Me

Being a board-certified specialist, I try to keep current with all the latest technologies and treatment methods. Before coming to Cranford, I held a teaching position at the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, where I trained the next generation of pediatric dentists.

After completing my dental degree at Rutgers, I spent two additional years training at Cohen Children’s Medical Center in New York, where I was named chief resident in my final year. Training at the children’s hospital was an amazing experience that taught me why it is important to have a specialist treating your children, including those with special needs.
