Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist
NJ Specialty Permit #06596 Pediatric Dentistry
I obtained my undergraduate degree from Rutgers University in Neuroscience. After that, I went on to obtain my DDS from Columbia University in New York. My specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry was completed back at Rutgers University. I am currently a Board Qualified Pediatric Dentist and actively pursuing become Board Certified.
I love pediatric dentistry. I enjoy the smiling faces of my patients and teaching them good oral hygiene habits that can last them a lifetime.
The aspect of dentistry that I’m most passionate about is the behavioral management of children. Children with special needs and behavioral problems need special behavioral management. To make a child who is unbelievably phobic, walk out of the dental office wanting to come back is considered success to me. The most exciting part of my job is when I educate parents and children about dentistry and make them feel positive about the field and their own oral heath. Gaining their trust, confidence and respect is the most rewarding aspect of this profession.
When I am not working, I’m usually in the kitchen. I love to bake. I love baking cakes, cannolis, cookies, etc. I am passionate about my art whether that is baking pastries, painting, or making my own jewelry. I also love hikes, traveling, missions, and adventures.
