Office Visits

Our practice is committed to providing you and your family with safe, gentle, and high-quality dental care. We understand that your child may feel anxious about visiting the dentist. We are sensitive to each child's unique needs, and it is our goal to make your son or daughter feel comfortable visiting our practice while we provide the best possible care.

Your first visit is all about your child: his or her comfort, happiness, and health

During the first visit, we will review your son or daughter’s dental and medical history forms, and evaluate them for any necesssary x-rays of the teeth and mouth.  One of our experienced hygienists will then clean and polish the patient’s teeth. Dr. Ferrara or Dr. Druger will inspect for cavities or early signs of tooth decay or gingivitis, and meet with you and your child to discuss your chil'd dental needs, help create an individual treatment plan.  We'll make sure we have time to answer any questions you may have.

Bring your smile, but also remember to bring these to your child’s first appointment

Regular checkups are an important part of maintaining a healthy smile!

The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends that kids visit the dentist every six months for regular checkups and routine teeth cleanings to keep their teeth and gums healthy.

We understand your family has a busy schedule, so when you’re preparing for a dental visit, please remember an appointment can last between 30 and 40 minutes.
